Selling at Auction (cont.)![]() Commissions and Consignment Fees ![]() Unless otherwise stated, Manor & Street charges a selling commission for multiple consignor auctions based on a sliding scale relative to the final hammer price of the property sold (Fees & Commissions). The higher the hammer price, the lower the commission rate, down to a floor of 8% on property items selling above $1,000. In addition to the selling commission, Manor & Street also charges a sliding scale, per item, consignment fee based on the total number of property items each client consigns. The greater the number of items consigned, the lower the per item charge. Fees may vary for specialty auctions. The consignment fee is intended to distribute the cost of catalogue and marketing expenses evenly between sellers. Charges for the promotion of a single client auction are determined privately between the client and Manor & Street.For auctions organized around a collection of considerable size or items of significant value, Manor & Street will negotiate fees & commission on an individual client by client basis. For specific details concerning Manor & Street commission rates please consult with your assigned auction specialist.![]() Payment ![]() Manor & Street settles all accounts within ten (10) working days, following the date(s) of the auction.
