Selling at Auction Auction Estimates When consigning items for auction, it is important for you to know what the likely selling price may be. At Manor & Street, we are happy to give you a free verbal auction estimate of your object's value. Our auction specialists can provide knowledgable evaluations of furniture, automobilia, stamps, coins, glassware, toys, sports memorabilia, printed ephemera, books, fine art, decorative art, and other valuables. We determine an objects estimated value based on the condition, rarity, and history of the item, as well as previously realized prices at auction for objects of similar identification. We also monitor the current state of the collector's market (Please note, that Manor & Street can only provide auction estimates, or any other information on the type of property we sell).To obtain a verbal auction estimate of your property's value, please contact Manor & Street by telephone (888/825.5092), Monday - Friday, during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PST), to arrange for specialist examination. Whenever practical, Manor & Street will dispatch a representative to your home, or place of business for a consultation. You are also welcome to submit a clear photograph of the item(s) you wish to have examined along with an Estimate Questionnaire, via e-mail (mark@yvn.com), or surface mail for remote consideration. Be sure to include a description of size dimensions, artist signature or makers mark, physical condition, historical significance, and any other relevant information. After review, Manor & Street will call you with our estimate. Trust and Estate Services Manor & Street welcomes the opportunity to work with trust and estate representatives, executors, banks and other fiduciary institutions to provide expert property evaluations, global marketing strategies, and professional auction services for their client's current and future asset management needs. In addition to accepting single object consignments for sale at auction, Manor & Street also offers a range of estate and commercial liquidation services including comprehensive inventory and appraisal reporting, the shipment of property to heirs, the handling of institutional bequeaths, on-site auctioneering, removal of rubbish, and final cleaning. We can also arrange for the auction of all commercial or private real estate assets. For comprehensive written appraisals, Manor & Street charges a fee based on the total number of expert hours required to complete the survey. Our appraisers occasionally must travel to other parts of the country to complete their assignments. There are additional charges for travel expenses. When indicated, Manor & Street may arrange for additional documentation of authenticity and photography of items. An appraisal estimate will be furnished for signatorial approval prior to starting work.At Manor & Street we believe that every estate and client is unique.
