At Manor & Street we understand how important marketing an event to the public can be. Presentation is everything in giving potential buyers the perception that the auction is something special, and that annual attendance is a must for anyone serious about collecting. Making proper presentation always starts with the gathering of information about the vehicles being consigned.
This means a little effort on the part of consignors to supply good and thorough information about their vehicles well in advance of the sale. In order for consignors to be considered for inclusion in Manor & Street's print and electronic advertising program for upcoming auctions, consigners must send in a prepaid electronic or printed pre-consignment form, along with two (2) high quality 35mm slide transparency photographs (prints or poloroids not accepted) of their vehicle(s), no less than sixty (60) days prior to the starting date of the auction. Our marketing specialists will process the information given to determine lot number position(s), whether to feature vehicle(s) in print advertising (vehicles featured in advertising is at the sole discretion of Manor & Street), and create an electronic visual catalog listing. The process is well worth the effort. Statistics show that automobiles that receive advanced advertising exposure can help increase net returns to the seller by as much as 25%. The consignment fee is the same whether or not a consignor pre-registers his or her vehicle(s) in time to receive advertising exposure, so please consider the disadvantage of not consigning early.
